Chia Chia advises senior pharma and biotech executives in therapeutic areas such as
central nervous system, oncology and immunology. She works with business development and disease area
leaders to identify and evaluate in-licensing opportunities, and develop product and disease strategy. As
Vice President of SHI Consulting, she has assisted in commercial strategy for billion dollar products and
pharma's top disease franchises. Her clientele includes the corporate headquarters of pharma such as
Bristol-Myers Squibb, Wyeth, Procter & Gamble, and Merck, as well as public biotech companies in North America
and Europe. As Managing Partner of SHI Link, she leverages her extensive contacts and knowledge of product
opportunities to assist her clients in identifying partners and in-licensing candidates in diverse therapeutic
areas and in emerging regions, such as the Asia-Pacific. Chia Chia is a member of the Asia-Pacific
pharmaceutical executive association, BayHelix.

Building on operational and senior executive roles in leading pharma and biotech companies
for 20 years, including Senior Vice President, Business Development & Licensing, Aspreva Pharmaceuticals,
Chief Business Officer, Memory Pharmaceuticals, Executive Director, Human Genome Sciences, Director,
International Licensing, Glaxo Wellcome, Gardiner is focused on consummating major transactions that span
creative alliance structures, stages of development and a variety of technology innovations. In addition
to leading over a dozen successful transactions between biotech and pharma companies, including with Human
Genome Sciences, Memory Pharmaceuticals, Roche, GlaxoSmithKline and Amgen, he has led the execution of an
equal number of biotech-biotech alliances between product, antibody, and platform companies such as
Affymetrix and Cambridge Antibody Technologies. The total potential up front and milestone value of buy-side
and sell-side transactions in which he's had a leading role over the last ten years exceeds $850 MM,
excluding royalties. Additionally, he has been part of the transaction team for large acquisitions, such as
the Glaxo purchase of Affymax for $530 MM, and the HGS purchase of Principia.

Ray has spent over 15 years working in the areas of commercialization, business development,
medical education, sales, strategic planning (corporate and re-organization), and therapeutic area franchise planning
(renal, cardiovascular and pulmonology) with biotech and large pharmaceutical companies including AstraZeneca,
Actelion and Aspreva. Working closely with several multinational companies, including in-country in Asia, Ray has
developed commercialization plans and strategies (early stage to marketed in several therapeutic areas) helping
companies plan for and achieve success. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Ray conducted extensive
molecular genetic research at the NIH and holds dual graduate degrees in molecular biology and international
management.
Tetyana Vieth

Tetyana has appraised prospective drug candidates in multiple stages of development for multinational
and mid sized pharmaceutical companies in autoimmune, respiratory and cardiovascular therapeutic areas.
As an Analyst at SHI Consulting, Tetyana has assessed current and future treatment trends within the
inflammation landscape and took part in formulating clinical strategies for multinational pharma. As
Associate Director, Business Development at SHI Link, Tetyana researches new markets and partners for clients aiming
to expand clinical and marketing reach. Tetyana received her MSc in cardiovascular research from the
University of Toronto, Canada.
Gregory Cesarone

Gregory has previously evaluated market potential for products relating to single-point gene
mutation diseases. As Business Development Manager at SHI Link, Gregory has researched and analyzed products from
diverse disease and therapeutic areas as well as researching potential markets and partners for clients. Gregory
completed his Ph.D. in biochemistry at Thomas Jefferson University with a focus in oncology and a post-doctoral
fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in the area of cardiovascular research.
Elizabeth Nemethy

Elizabeth oversees all administrative aspects of SHI Link including human resources and accounting.
An experienced administrative professional Elizabeth has been with SHI Link since its inception and previously worked in
administrative capacity at SHI Consulting. She holds a BA (advanced major in Psychology) and a certificate in Human
Resource Management.
